Danica has been an actress in theatre since age 14. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and filmmaking in 1997, where she studied at Santa Monica College, acting on the side in independent films and working serving food to the likes of "Mini Me," Leonardo Decaprio and other known actors at the famed Playboy Mansion.
She then attended Loyola Marymount University, graduating with a B.A. in Film Production, teaching acting at some of the best child acting schools on the side. While at Loyola, Danica produced two high end short films, Tir Nan Og and Imagination. Imagination filmed using Panavision 35mm cameras and finished with a 35mm print that screened at dozens of film festivals world wide. Both Imagination and Tir Nan Og won awards at film festivals and are soon to be released on a compilation DVD. Tir Nan Og in fact won best short film at The Young Artist Awards, where famous actor Shia LeBeouf (The Transformers) was in attendance; other award winners included Frankie Muniz and red-headed star of the Harry Potter films Rupert Grint.
Danica recently Co-starred in and Co-produced the feature film Crazy Animal and landed bit parts in the feature films "The Scholarship" and "The Vampires of Zanzibar". She has written a handful of feature-length screenplays, one of them a children's fantasy film she is planning to produce next with her husband.
